Local Art

An Cois Na Mara is where I conceive ideas and shape designs. I am a self taught textile artist with a love for nature and wildlife, particularly the flora and fauna that can be found here in Wester Ross. I work with a combination of fibres including pure wool roving & carded wool, tweed, natural threads, recycled cotton and linen. I am happiest when wet felting, sewing, painting fabric and embroidering to make anything from framed art to embroidered Linen bracelets.

My work is currently available at the local artisan market on a Tuesday in nearby Poolewe.
